PLANT CITY, FL – A three-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck shut north of Plant City on Monday left two people with injuries, according to Fox 13.
Troopers say the crash occurred when a sedan had a tire malfunction in the westbound lanes of I-4 near Alexander Street and veered into the semi, causing both vehicles to overturn in the roadway. A third unspecified vehicle then became involved in the crash.
The drivers of both the truck and the sedan were hosptialized with minor injuries. It is unclear if any additional injuries were sustained in the crash.
