GAINESVILLE, FL – A 36-year-old adult driving a trash truck managed to escape injuries after their vehicle overturned after crashing into a guardrail on I-75 Monday.
WCJB said this collision happened before 4 p.m. near mile marker 388. Upon arrival, fire crews shut down both directions so they could stabilize the truck and tow truck workers could remove it from the site.
All lanes reopened in the evening. Florida Highway Patrol, who was among the first responders, said the driver of the truck did not collide and damage the Northwest 23rd Avenue overpass.
