No injuries reported when semi crashes into Panama City pole 

PANAMA CITY, FL – A 47-year-old man driving a semi-truck managed to escape injuries after colliding with a utility pole Monday. 

This crash happened around 11:30 a.m. at Highway 231 and Jolee Road, according to MyPanHandle. First responders said the driver (from Montevallo, Alabama) had tried to veer off the road, leading him to crash into the ditch before hitting the utility pole. 

At the time of reporting, officials told drivers in the area to use Penny Road to County Road 2301 as alternative routes.
