ORLANDO, FL – A motorcyclist rear-ended a box truck in Azalea Park and was rushed to a hospital where he later died Friday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol told Click Orlando that the events unfolded before 7:30 a.m. when the driver of the box truck, a 51-year-old man, an Orlando local, reduced his speed on Goldenrod Road as he was getting ready to turn right. As he yielded, that’s when the motorcyclist hit the back of his truck.
First responders confirmed the truck driver was spared from injuries. Upon arrival, crews blocked all the northbound lanes to clean up debris from the crash and to restore safe road conditions.
