Injuries reported after major semi collision on I-10 EB in Jacksonville

DUVAL COUNTY, FL — At least one person suffered injuries Saturday evening, March 9, due to a rollover semi-truck crash on Interstate 10 in Jacksonville, reports First Coast News.

The accident happened on the eastbound lanes of I-10 approaching Lane Avenue and was first reported at about 7:20 p.m.

According to Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, a semi-truck overturned during an apparent single-vehicle collision. Florida Highway Patrol said motorists were re-directed onto exit 357 toward Lane Avenue and then asked to take the entrance ramp to re-enter eastbound I-10.

A second collision was reported in the westbound lanes at about 7:25 p.m., leaving two left lanes blocked.

Officials said no one was immediately transported to a hospital.
