SEFFNER, FL – Three people were hospitalized last Friday following a crash involving five vehicles including a tractor-trailer and a flatbed in Hillsborough County.
According to Bay News 9, a vehicle traveling east in the westbound lanes of I-4 at Kingsway Road collided with a Mercedes-Benz. A truck traveling behind the Mercedes braked to avoid the collision, but was hit from behind by a flatbed.

The pickup skidded off the side of the roadway and collided with a parked tractor-trailer as the flatbed overturned, trapping the driver inside.
The driver was extricated after about 90 minutes and airlifted to a local hospital in unknown condition. Two additional victims were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the wrong way vehicle, 22-year-old Arda Sengun, was arrested for DUI with serious bodily injury.
