JACKSONVILLE, FL – A crash involving two tractor-trailers west of Jacksonville Wednesday night left one man seriously injured, according to WJAX.
Troopers say a truck was attempting to merge from the grassy median along the I-10 eastbound ramp to FL-23 at about 9 p.m. when another tractor-trailer failed to slow down and crashed into the rear of the first.
The impact left the second truck wedged under the trailer of the first. The driver, an unidentified 57-year-old man from Hialeah, was hospitalized in serious condition.
No additional injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
