JACSONVILLE, FL – A multi-vehicle crash in Jacksonville Monday morning claimed the life of an elderly man and left another driver injured, according to Fox 30.
The collision occurred in the northbound lanes of I-95, just south of the US-17 interchange at about 11 a.m.
First responders say a Hyundai was attempting to merge from the shoulder and collided with a semi-truck.
The Hyundai’s driver, a 91-year-old Jacksonville man, died at the scene.
The truck’s driver was taken to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
