COLLIER CO., FL – A truck drier was killed after his vehicle veered off of I-75 in Collier County early this morning.
According to a report by Naples Daily News, a tractor-trailer was headed west on I-75 near mile marker 82 at about 12:50 a.m. when it collided with a disabled pickup truck in the roadway. The tractor-trailer veered off the interstate, through a guardrail, and into a canal.
The truck’s driver, an unidentified 67-year-old, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
No additional injuries were reported.
