2 hurt in fiery tractor-trailer wreck in Cocoa 

COCOA, FL – A tractor-trailer driver drifted off I-95 South and crashed into a tree, causing the truck to catch fire and injuring themself and their passenger Tuesday. 

The collision happened before 7 a.m. along mile marker 202, WESH reports. The occupants sustained minor wounds and there were no reports of hospitalizations. 

Upon arrival, officials shut down the southbound lanes for the standard scene clearance process. Fire crews were able to extinguish the flames and remove the disabled truck from site. All lanes have reopened since. 

Officials have not confirmed what caused the driver to lose control of the big rig nor said if other vehicles were involved.
