1 seriously hurt in solo box truck crash in St. Augustine 

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – One person sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local trauma center following a solo box truck collision Monday, Action News Jax reported. 

St. Johns County Fire Rescue responded to the scene, I-95 North, around 3:15 p.m. Photos from the source indicated significant damage to the truck, along with several contents from the truck scattered onto the road. 

While the truck was nearly totaled, it is unclear if the person who was hospitalized was pinned or entrapped inside the truck. 

First responders shut down the area for more than two hours and reopened all lanes around 3:15 p.m.
