HENDRY CO., FL – A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck in rural Hendry County on Tuesday afternoon left one man dead and another injured.
According to a report by NBC 2, the semi blew a tire on US-27 near Airglades Boulevard at about 1:35 p.m. The truck then veered into the oncoming lanes were it collided with a pickup truck before slamming into a guardrail.
The driver of the semi, a 49-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle, and died at the scene. The other driver involved was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
