BAKERSFIELD, CA – A semi-truck jackknifed into a guardrail on Interstate 5, causing major delays on Thursday afternoon, BakersfieldNow reports.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-5 near Grapevine Road around 2:14 pm. It involved the semi-truck and a Tesla.
The truck jackknifed, damaging about 40 feet of guardrail and blocking the number one and two lanes.
It’s unknown if anyone suffered injuries.
