FOWLER, CA – A 23-year-old man died last month in a fiery semi collision along a major roadway in Fresno County, reports abc 30.
The morning of Sunday, January 18th, emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash on Clovis Avenue near FL-99 in the city of Fowler, approximately 11 miles southeast of Fresno.
The investigation indicates that conditions were foggy when a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler collided as the truck driver made a U-turn on Clovis Avenue. The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to ignite.
The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Michael Molano, sustained fatal injuries.
The driver of the semi did not sustain injuries in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
