FREMONT, CA – A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a semi truck on Osgood Road last Friday afternoon, NBC Bay Area reports.
According to the authorities, the collision occurred on the 44000 block of Osgood Road around 12:20 pm. The bicyclist was reportedly traveling south on the west side of the road when the northbound semi truck attempted to turn into a driveway and struck him.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
