Man, 80, killed in tractor-trailer, train crash in Piggott 

PIGGOTT, AR – An 80-year-old man died from his injuries as a result of a crash between a tractor-trailer and a train on Tuesday, Kait8 reports.

According to Kait8, the 80-year-old man was driving a tractor-trailer on County Road 346 when he collided with a Union Pacific train.

The truck driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. He has since been identified as Ronnie Gurley from Greenway.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation is underway.
