Man, 53, dies as semi strikes trees in Lawrence Co. 

LAWRENCE CO, AR – A 53-year-old man driving a 2017 International semi-truck drifted off the road and crashed into some trees, resulting in his death Thursday. 

Arkansas State Police told Kait8 that the man, identified as Theotis Crawford Jr. from West Memphis, was going north on Highway 115 around 1:30 p.m.(near State Highway 117) when he went around the curve and then veered off the road to the right side and then entered the road again before his truck overturned.  

Troopers said weather conditions were dry, and any lane closures put into effect were lifted.
