NEWARK, AR – A 49-year-old man driving a Kenworth Truck struck a Peterbilt tractor-trailer, turning left, causing the Peterbilt truck to catch on fire and claiming the man’s life Tuesday.
Arkansas State Police told White River Now this collision happened before 4:45 a.m. on State Highway 69 along a private driveway near the OMP Feed Mill.
State Police identified the victim as Malcolm Hix, a Batesville resident.
