WALNUT RIDGE, AR – A 65-year-old woman driving a 2024 Mack Truck lost her life when she crashed into a telephone pole Monday.
Arkansas State Police told Kait8 the events unfolded around 11:30 a.m., when the driver drifted off U.S. 67 North and went into the left side, went into the ditch, prior to returning to the road and before the crash occurred.
Officers have identified the motorist as Cynthia Faye Hood, an Addison resident, also revealing her body was transported to Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie.
The Walnut Ridge Police Department is taking the lead on this investigation and has not released additional information at this time.
