Authorities respond to crash involving two semis on I-30 in Clark County

CLARK COUNTY, AR – Three vehicles, including two semi-trucks, were involved in a wreck late Monday afternoon on Interstate 30 near Gurdon, reports KARK.

Arkansas Department of Transportation officials said the accident occurred on the westbound lanes at Exit 63 toward State Route 53, near Southfolk Truck Stop & Travel Center.

The cause of the collision was not immediately apparent, but ARDOT indicated a potential injury.

At the time of the initial report, crews were re-routing motorists onto Exit 69. By about 5:00 p.m., a travel lane had reopened, allowing for traffic to pass.

As of this writing, no charges or citations have been reported.
