NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – It took Arkansas Department of Transportation crews nine hours to clear the scene of a truck collision on Wednesday.
The truck crash happened around 1 a.m. at the I-30 and I-40 connector, according to KARK. ArDOT crews immediately shut down the area and reopened all lanes around 11 a.m. when crews were able to stabilize the truck and clean up debris left over from the crash.
Authorities said the truck had carried produce at the time of the collision but did not specify what company owned the truck or whether the driver was injured.
During the closures, ArDOT crews responded to another collision that happened on I-30. This crash took place before 6:30 a.m. on I-30 near the Bryant Parkway. Officials did not specify the exact cause of this accident, the kind of vehicles involved, or if anyone was injured.
