1 killed, 1 injured in auto, semi-truck collision in Wynne

WYNNE, AR – One driver was killed and another was injured in a collision between a vehicle and a semi-truck on Highway 64 last Wednesday, July 30. 

According to Kait8, the events unfolded around 4:30 p.m., when a 66-year-old man driving a 2020 Ford tried to turn left onto County Road 251 and collided with a 1990 Freightliner semi-truck. Arkansas State Police said the semi-truck driver, initially going east, had tried to pass traffic on the westbound lane when he crashed into the Ford vehicle. 

The Ford driver died from his injuries at the scene, while the truck driver was sent to Cross Ridge Hospital for treatment of her injuries. 

State police identified the Ford driver as Tracey Foster from Wynne and the truck driver as Miram Langford from Hot Springs.
