PIMA CO., AZ – Injuries have been reported in connection to a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday along the interstate in eastern Pima County, reports KVOA News 4 Tucson.
The accident occurred in the afternoon on the northbound side of I-19 near West Pima Mine Road in the southern outskirts of Tucson.
Police haven’t shared any details concerning the crash except to say that it involved an 18-wheeler and one other vehicle. The cause of the collision hasn’t yet been identified.
Officials closed the interstate while emergency crews attended to the views and worked to clear the scene.
