MUSCLE SHOALS, AL – A 31-year-old woman driving a car turned to turn at 2nd Avenue and South Wilson Dam Road when she was hit by a big rig, leading to her death Saturday.
This collision happened before 11:45 p.m., according to WHNT. The Muscle Shoals Police Department and Fire Department said the semi driver, who was identified as 28-year-old Sean Ivey, was going north on Wilson when his Volvo semi collided with the woman.
After the vehicles collided, the woman, identified as 31-year-old Indigo Fort, succumbed to fatal wounds.
Authorities have not confirmed if Ivey was injured or will face criminal charges or citations for his involvement in this wreck.
