Update: Man, 69, killed in Montgomery big-rig, trash truck wreck 

MONTGOMERY, AL – Montgomery Police confirmed that a 69-year-old man driving a Mack trash truck died when he collided with a Peterbilt tractor-trailer Monday.

To recap, this collision happened around 8:44 a.m. on Selma Highway near Altax Road. New details from AL indicate the man was later identified as Richard Ward of Union Springs.

Despite the nature of this wreck, the tractor-trailer driver was spared from physical harm.
