BALDWIN COUNTY, AL — Alabama Law Enforcement (ALEA) troopers responded to a crash involving a semi-truck late Wednesday morning on Interstate 10 near northeast Robertsdale, according to WKRG.
Officials said the wreck occurred near mile marker 56, in an area east of Cowpen Creek Road. WKRG first reported on the event at 11:15 a.m.
It’s unclear what circumstances led up to the accident or whether anyone was seriously injured, but a sedan and a semi were impacted.
At the time of the initial report, both westbound and eastbound lanes of the interstate were shut down, with only one westbound lane open to passing traffic.
The ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate.
