UNION GROVE, AL – A 21-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision involving a trash truck on Union Grove Road on Friday, according to WHNT.
The 21-year-old man, who was driving a car, collided head-on with the truck just before 1:30 p.m. and died from his injuries a short time later. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has since identified him as John P. Streit from Marbury.
The truck driver was left with unspecified injuries and transported to Marshall Medical Center North in Guntersville by EMS crews for treatment.
