HUNTSVILLE, AL – A driver was rushed to the hospital after their dump truck overturned in east Huntsville on Wednesday.
According to WHNT, the crash occurred on Research Park Boulevard, between University Drive and Bradford.
The driver, whose identity is unclear at this time, was transported to an area hospital in serious condition. Police say they are expected to be OK.
Few details about the crash are available. However, photos from the scene show the dump truck rolled onto its side against the center divider.
This portion of Research Park Boulevard was closed for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene. All lanes have since reopened.
