NEAR EBLA, AL – A driver lost their life when they crashed their tractor-trailer into a creek embankment off Highway 84 West Friday.
WDHN said the tractor-trailer crash took place around 11:15 p.m., 15 miles west of Elba. The impact of the collision left the truck with significant damage, and the driver succumbed to their injuries a short time later.
The Coffee County Coroner’s Office has since identified the victim as Robert Lane Fennell, from Troy.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating the details of the tractor-trailer crash.
