Driver killed after tractor-trailer overturns near Camden

NEAR CAMDEN, AL – A 36-year-old man lost his life as a result of a tractor-trailer rollover crash that occurred on Alabama 21 on Wednesday.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency told Magnolia State Live that the collision happened after the 36-year-old man had drifted off the road and crashed his 2022 Peterbilt tractor-trailer, which led it to overturn.

The driver was declared dead at the scene by troopers. Authorities have since identified him as JoColby M. Holder, from Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Officials shut down the area and have reopened all lanes since.

Troopers launched a thorough investigation. No other details were reported at this time.
