CREOLA, AL – A driver of a 2017 Volvo tractor-trailer collided with a 2018 Mack semi-truck on I-65 South, leading both drivers to sustain injuries Thursday.
This crash happened before 2:30 a.m. near mile marker 30 adjacent to the General W.K. Wilson Jr. Bridge, according to WKRG.
After arriving, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency shut down the southbound lanes for several hours before reopening it around 8:30 a.m. Amid the closures, drivers were redirected to Alabama State Route 225 from 6:45 to 8:15 a.m.
