18-wheeler involved in Greenville crash that sends motorcyclist to hospital

BUTLER COUNTY, AL — One person was hospitalized last Friday morning, March 15, following a crash involving a motorcycle, a passenger car, and a big rig on Alabama Highway 10 near Greenville, according to Greenville Advocate.

First responders arrived on the scene in an area about two miles from the intersection with Alabama Highway 31 some time after 8:00 a.m.

According to Sheriff Danny Bond, the operator of the motorcycle was transported to a hospital in Montgomery, but the severity of the victim’s condition was not immediately disclosed.

A traffic backup formed in the area as crews processed the scene and worked to remove the semi, which had come to rest in a nearby front yard.
