LOGAN COUNTY, OH – A man died last Wednesday when a semi-truck and a dump truck collided with his vehicle on US 33, WHIO reports.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened in the eastbound lanes of US 33 near mile marker 18 in Jefferson Township around 4:15 pm.

A Kia Rio was reportedly disabled in the left lane when a dump truck struck it, pushing it into another lane, where it was struck again by a tractor-trailer. The Kia and the tractor-trailer then veered off the road, where the truck overturned.

The driver of the Kia Rio, 26-year-old Ismahan Abdikadir Nagati of Columbus, was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi-truck driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.
