GREENE COUNTY, OH – A man was killed in a collision with a semi-truck at a State Route 72 intersection Monday afternoon, WDTN reports.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at the intersection of State Route 72 and Plymouth Road in Silvercreek Township around 2:45 pm.
Authorities believe the semi-truck was headed westbound when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign. A 36-year-old man driving a pickup truck then collided with the semi.
The pickup truck driver was pronounced dead on the scene. The semi driver sustained minor injuries.
