MOULTRIE, GA – An accident on State Route 35 involving a semi-truck and a sedan left one person dead on Friday evening, WALB reports.
According to Georgia State Patrol, the accident occurred around 3:50 pm at the intersection of State Route 35 and State Route 33. The driver of the sedan was attempting to make a left onto SR33 from the northbound lanes of SR 35 when the semi-truck struck the side of the car, sending both vehicles off the roadway and into a ditch.
The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
