TEMPLE, TX – An 18-wheeler accident on I-35 hospitalized one person and caused major delays on Tuesday evening, KWTX reports.
The accident occurred at mile marker 303 around 7:51 pm. The 18-wheeler was traveling southbound on I-35 when it collided with a concrete wall and jackknifed. The truck was left hanging over a bridge railing, spilling gas and oil across the roadway.
One person was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
