NEW ORLEANS, LA – A pedestrian was struck by an 18-wheeler on Paris Road early Tuesday morning, Fox 8 reports.
Police say they responded to a call about a collision near the Green Bridge on Paris Road around 4:20 am. They found that the truck struck the pedestrian while headed northbound. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is under investigation.
