LUBBOCK, TX – A woman died when her van collided with a semi-truck at an Olive Avenue intersection Monday morning, KAMC reports.
According to Lubbock Police Department, Jenna Garcia, 31, was heading south on Olive Avenue in a minivan around 6:13 am when she entered the Slaton Highway intersection and was struck by an eastbound semi-truck.
Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was transported to University Medical Center with minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
