SOUTH COLUMBUS, OH – A Jeep driver lost their life after crashing into a semi-truck at the State Route 104 and Haul Road intersection on Monday.
The crash took place around 9:30 a.m. on the highway’s westbound lanes, according to NBC4I. The impact of the collision caused the Jeep to be struck by the truck.
The Jeep driver was officially pronounced dead at the scene at 9:41 a.m.
Authorities shut down westbound SR 104 and U.S. 33 for the scene clean-up process and have reopened all lanes since.
Columbus police started an investigation.
