KNOXVILLE, TN – A moped scooter operator was left in critical condition following a crash with a Waste Connections trash truck along John Tarleton Park on Wednesday.
The female scooter rider and the truck collided at the intersection of Division Street and Cary Street, according to WVLTV.
The woman was taken to UT Medical Center, where she is recovering.
The exact cause of the collision is under investigation.
No charges have been announced as of this writing.
