DENISON, TX – Denison police arrested a driver for DWI after they caused a multi-vehicle crash involving two semi-trucks on Highway 75.
KTEN said the collision happened Thursday night, and the arrest was officially made at midnight on Friday. Preliminary details show that one of the truck drivers swerved out of their lane and into the median and southbound lanes to avoid a crash. However, that effort proved to be futile, and the truck’s trailer was left completely totaled.
The cargo from the damaged trailer was transported to other vehicles.
The force of the collision left one person in serious physical condition, and they were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities issued closures to seek alternative routes and expect traffic delays.
