Deputies first announced the crash at 5:36 p.m., stating it happened off the intersection of Webb Girth and Moore Mills Roads. The exact details regarding what led to the collision are unclear. However, officials said that the truck driver had crashed into a ditch, which caused the truck to jackknife.
Deputies shut down the area temporarily and reopened the intersection just before 7 p.m. During the closures, drivers were asked to seek alternative routes.
