Man, 64, killed in multi-vehicle crash involving big rig in Van Buren

VAN BUREN, AR – A 64-year-old man was killed, and two juveniles were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash that involved a big rig Monday.

According to 5NewsOnline, the events unfolded when the 64-year-old man, who drove a 2007 Dodge Ram, first rear-ended a Volvo on I-70 East. The force of the collision caused the Dodge Ram to rotate, and moments later, it was struck by a Peterbilt big rig.

Arkansas State Police later identified the 64-year-old man as Mark Holmes from Mandeville, Louisiana.
