Motorcyclist loses life to crash with big rig near Dale Co. rest area 

OZARK, AL – A 37-year-old man riding a motorcycle lost his life after crashing into a big rig near the Dale County rest area reported at 7 a.m. Monday. 

WDHN said the two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of U.S. 231 and County Road 30 and warranted a response from Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and the Corner’s Office. After arriving, they declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. He has been identified as Joseph Lee Muccio from Dothan. 

Troopers are continuing to investigate the details behind the two-vehicle collision and have not announced any citations or charges at this time.
