Man, 48, killed in fiery truck collision in Jones 

JONES, AL – A 48-year-old man was killed in a fiery truck collision that happened on Autauga County 1 Tuesday.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency told the Montgomery Advisor that the 48-year-old man had lost control of his 2020 International semi-truck while driving on the highway. He veered off the road and then crashed into a tree, which caused the truck to catch on fire.

The truck driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene. He has since been identified as Korey D. Vaughn from Sugar Tree, Tennessee.

No other vehicles were involved. Law enforcement has yet to confirm why Vaughn lost control of his truck.
