METAIRIE, LA – A semi-truck overturned and crashed into a canal after colliding with a car off West Esplanade Avenue and North Labarre Wednesday.
The two-vehicle collision warranted a response from East Bank Consolidated Fire Department and Jefferson Parish fire officials, according to WDSU. After arriving, first responders shut down a portion of West Esplanade Avenue so crews could stabilize and remove the truck from the canal.
Authorities did not confirm if anyone was injured or stated the events that led to the two-vehicle collision.
