WESTON, FL – Seven people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving a dump truck on I-75 northwest of Weston early Monday.
According to NBC South Florida, a dump truck and a Honda were traveling south on I-75 near Glades Parkway when both vehicles veered off the roadway for unknown reasons.
The Honda rolled over an embankment and came to a stop on its side, while the dump truck collided with a utility pole.
Six people, including two children, were extricated from the Honda and taken to a local hospital. The driver of the dump truck also reportedly sustained injuries in the crash.
Traffic delays were reported in the area as the exit ramp to FL-84 was shut down for sometime following the crash. The ramp has since reopened.
