BROWARD COUNTY, FL – One person lost their life and another person was injured due to a two-vehicle collision early Wednesday in Sunrise, according to WSVN.

The accident occurred on the northbound side of the Sawgrass Expressway, near Oakland Park Boulevard and Commercial Boulevard.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the victim was driving a sedan against traffic when it collided head-on with a semi-truck traveling head-on.
