FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA – Virginia State Police were summoned to the scene of a crash that involved a truck with a trailer and a school bus Friday afternoon.
WDJB7 said officials arrived at the accident scene after 2 p.m. Officers learned the bus was owned by Roanoke City Public Schools, which offers “alternative transportation” to students in the Franklin County and Roanoke City area. Roanoke City Public Schools has not released a formal statement regarding Friday’s collision.
Police confirmed no students were on board the bus and have not reported any injuries.
