ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC – The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the two victims who lost their lives after a crash with a trash truck Tuesday.
The victims were identified as 32-year-old Kyle Green and 33-year-old Sara Green, both from Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, according to new details from WRDW.
One of the Greens was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox SUV on I-95 when one of them rear-ended a 1987 trash truck. Kyle and Sara succumbed to their injuries at the accident scene, while their other passenger — their child — survived and was taken to a hospital.
The truck driver was spared from injuries.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is taking the lead on the investigation.
